The 2030 rigid auger header sizes are designed to handle a wide variety of crops in a wide variety of conditions, such as down crop, tangled crop, uneven terrain and muddy conditions.
Features may include:
Frame DesignThe heavy-duty, rigid frame includes two reinforced strengthening webs for maximum durability.
Pick-up ReelThe Case IH 2030 six bat reel is designed to gently engage then lift the crop and move it over the cutter bar and across the auger floor to be conveyed by the auger. This design ensures proper feeding and cutting, increasing both grain savings and grain quality.
KnifeA self-sharpening, over-serrated knife is standard. Tough double-cast steel fingers are designed with maintenance-free internal knife guides and knife sections are bolted.
AugerMounted evenly across the full width of the auger, 16mm diameter retractable tines with synthetic guides ensure a quiet operation. Large inspection doors make maintenance simple.
The auger is driven with a heavy duty chain from the header main shaft and protected from foreign objects by a radial pin slip clutch. The standard auger speed is 149 rpm; an optional slow-down sprocket reduces speed to 135 rpm. The auger is a large 26 in. diameter with 16 in. diameter center tube and 5 in. deep flights.
The crop lifters lift down crop and are stored in a convenient location on the right hand side of the header.
